WILTON FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Wilton Fire Department is an all-volunteer department that provides emergency services to 7500 residents in Wilton and the surrounding area. The Wilton Fire District is one of the largest in the State of Iowa, covering nearly 190 square miles in Muscatine and Cedar Counties. The Wilton Fire Department currently has 30 members that proudly provide fire suppression, fire prevention, approving restaurant hood cleaning, rescue, and non-transport medical services to the community. The Wilton Fire Department responds to approximately 250 calls each year covering all types of emergencies, including fires, rescue, vehicle accidents, medical, gas spills, and gas leaks. The Wilton Fire Department also has access to technical rescue teams and a Hazmat response team through mutual aid agreements.
